How to Reach Us

Barsana Dham is located in S.W. Austin, Texas, 17 miles from downtown on FM 1826 (Camp Ben McCulloch Road).

You can reach us by the following routes:

By Car from Austin and points north:
Via Loop 1: Take Loop 1 (Mopac Expressway) South to Route 45 West. Continue on Route 45 West until it ends at FM 1826. Turn left on FM 1826. After 4 miles you will see the main entrance to Barsana Dham on the left.

Via I-35: Take I-35 South to Exit # 227 (Slaughter Lane). Turn right on Slaughter Lane and go approximately 6 miles until you reach Loop 1 (Mopac Expressway). Turn left (south) on Loop 1 which becomes Route 45 West. Continue on Route 45 West until it ends at FM 1826. Turn left on FM 1826. After 4 miles you will see the main entrance to Barsana Dham on the left.

By Car from San Antonio and points south:
Via I-35: Take I-35 North to Exit # 217 (Buda). Turn left at first road (you will be crossing over I-35). At stop sign, turn right onto Loop 4 (frontage road). Stay on Loop 4 until you reach the traffic light in Buda (you will cross railroad tracks just before reaching Buda). Turn left at the light onto FM 967. Take FM 967 approximately 12 miles until it ends and turn right onto FM 1826. After approximately 3 miles you will see the main entrance to Barsana Dham on the right.

By Car from Houston and points east:
Take 1-10 West, then travel on 71 West towards Austin until you reach the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Then follow the directions below.

From Austin-Bergstrom International Airport:
Travel on Route 71 West towards Austin, passing under I-35 (Route 71 becomes Highway 290 West from this point). After 3.7 miles you will exit at the Loop 1 North/South. Turn left at the third traffic light onto Loop 1 (Mopac South). Loop 1 will become 45 West. Continue on Route 45 West until it ends at FM 1826. Turn left on FM 1826. After 4 miles you will see the main entrance to Barsana Dham on the left.

By Air:
Fly to the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. You can reach Barsana Dham by rental car, taxi or by airport shuttle service. Call American Yellow Checker Cab at 800-829-4222 or Super Shuttle at 800-BLUE-VAN for costs.

By Bus:
Greyhound provides bus service to Austin. The station is located in North Austin at 916 E. Koenig Ln. Call American Yellow Checker Cab at 800-829-4222 to bring you to Barsana Dham.

By Train:
Amtrak provides service along the Los Angeles-Chicago route into downtown Austin. The station is at 250 N Lamar Blvd. Call American Yellow Checker Cab at 800-829-4222 to bring you to Barsana Dham.
